Compact Vortec power for mid-size bays — standalone wiring with emissions or no-emissions programming, including marine calibrations when you need them.
The 4.8 LR4 shares a block family with the 5.3, but the crank and rods are different. It's a strong fit when bay space is tight and you still want modern fuel injection, diagnostics, and a snap of torque from the taller plenum design.
We build the harness with or without emissions. For marine use, we match the computer program to the environment. Pairing an SSW harness with a full-capability GM controller keeps onboard diagnostics available — smaller ECM / VCM / PCM options often trade that away.
